FOTOGRAFIA AEREA TOMADA CON AVION U-2
--------------------
This photography was taken during two flights, February 8th. and 13th.
1976, for the purpose of carrying out an evaluation of damages caused by
the earthquake of February 4th. 1976.
The photography scale is 1:35,000 in its central part, with a 55% overlap
in the flight direction. Due to the form of the lens and the mechanism
of the camera, the resulting photography is 1.49 meters long by twelve
centimeters of width from horizon to horizon, perpendicular to the flight
line and with semipanoramic borders.

GEOLOGY:
The Instituto Geografico Nacional is carrying out the work pertaining to the
geologic map of the country at two different scales:
The program has been initiated with sheets NO 15-7 y NO 16-5. Two sheets
have been published and three are being worked on.
Eighteen sheets have been published. The work is being carried out by the
Instituto Geografico Nacional and several United States of America universi
ties, within a collaborative program initiated in 1962. For each published
geologic sheet, there exists a doctoral Thesis in the English language. The
relevant copies can be obtained by the interested party who would also have
to bear the cost, at the Microfilms University Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan,

status of land ownership, by means of established technical procedures for
the correct location of the properties and in accordance with the legal
specifications regarding the right of ownership.
The final result in the registries and cadastral maps at 1:10,000 scale for
