PERFORM with

TANYA TAGAQ
Meany Center for the Performing Arts is partnering
with Native performing artists/ensembles and UW
students to provide the “sound tapestry” for Inuk
throat singer Tanya Tagaq’s Retribution program at
UW’s Meany Hall on Friday, February 8, at 8pm.

Rehearsals will take place in the evening on


Wednesday and Thursday, February 6-7, at
MeanyHall on the UW campus.

Artists will receive a modest honorarium,


refreshments at rehearsals and the performance,
plus complimentary tickets. Parking for rehearsals
and performances will be provided.

Singing experience is not necessary,


but performance experience is preferred.

Seeking a diversity of voices, genders,


ages (16 and up) and nations.
