Your pack and load dates are right around the corner! At this time, Arpin International Group would like to remind you of the following
to assist in making this a seamless move for you:

• Documents - Please be sure you have all important/needed documents for closings, school enrollment, banking, credit, and personal
finance, passport etc., set aside prior to packing and loading.

• Prescription Medications - All prescription medications should be taken with you in case of unforeseen changes/delays during your move.
We strongly recommend that you do not ship any prescription medications with Arpin International Group.

• Items Not Being Shipped - Please separate any items that are not going with Arpin International Group to avoid confusion. Specifically,
items that are going with you directly such as suitcases, personal items, children’s toys, games, and electronic items.

• Jewelry - Jewelry is NOT covered by insurance under any circumstances; therefore, we strongly urge you not to include any jewelry in your
shipment. If jewelry is included, it is NOT covered by insurance under any circumstances.

• Restricted Items / Items Not Covered by Insurance - Carefully review the document attached regarding restricted items and items not
covered by insurance.

• Responsibility - You or someone you designate must be present while our crews are there to manage the process. It is normal to step out
for an errand, etc., but it is in your best interest to have someone there during the entire process.

• Separating Items - If your move has multiple modes of transport (i.e., air, sea, storage) or multiple destinations (i.e., temporary residence
or second residence), it is important that you separate goods accordingly so that the crew can pack and load them to your specifications.

• Computers - It is strongly urged that all computers are shut down and backed up prior to our arrival. Further, it is best practice for you to
disconnect all cables, wires, etc., as our crews are not going to be familiar with your specific set up. This will make for an easier set up for
you upon arrival at destination.

• Attic - If you have items in your attic that are moving with Arpin, please remember to remove them prior to our arrival to another area.

• Affixed Items - Take down any items permanently affixed to a wall or ceiling if you wish them to be included in your shipment. Please also
remove any curtains you wish to ship with Arpin.

• Refrigerator - Remember to defrost, drain, wash, and dry your refrigerator/freezer at least 48 hours prior to the loading of these items to
avoid potential mildew problems. This is especially important if your goods are going to temporary storage.

• Winter Months - If you are moving in winter months and live in an area where snow and ice are prevalent, please remember it is your
responsibility to clear your driveway and walkways of snow and ice.

• Clothing - Wrinkling of clothing is inevitable during the moving process. Arpin International Group will do everything possible to limit the
amount of wrinkling to your clothing; however, some items will be wrinkled/creased. Professional cleaning, pressing, etc., is not something
that Arpin International Group will be liable for as part of the claims process.

If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please do not hesitate your International Move Coordinator.

The laws governing the international shipment of lithium batteries by air were modified January 1, 2015; however, effective dates may
vary by country. Please contact your International Move Coordinator for further details.

Today’s batteries are more powerful than ever. To reduce the risk of fires aboard aircrafts and protect the safety of passengers and their property,
new regulatory requirements have been established governing the international air transport of lithium batteries. As a shipper, you can play an
important role in helping to minimize this risk by adhering to the accepted UN international standards for safely transporting batteries and battery-
powered equipment. This information is to be used as a guide only; to review complete air regulation information published by the International Air
Transport Association (IATA) click here or the U.S. Department of Transportation click here and enter keywords transportation lithium batteries (an
updated version is expected in December 2012).

Proper packaging is one of the most important steps that a shipper can take to prevent an accident from occurring. Certain battery types are of
greater concern when transported. Dangers associated with batteries include chemical burn, fire, and electrical shock. Batteries should be
individually packaged (when practical) or separated to prevent damage and short circuiting.

Types of Batteries

Lead-acid batteries: Common in cars, electric wheelchairs, some continuous computer power sources, and other applications. These batteries
contain highly corrosive acid and can cause fires from short circuits. Tested, proven non-spillable batteries are allowed to be shipped as non-
hazardous within the U.S. Batteries and packagings must be marked "NON-SPILLABLE" or "NON-SPILLABLE BATTERY."

Lithium and lithium ion batteries: Both rechargeable or non-rechargeable power sources, common in computers, cell phones, cameras, and other
small electronic devices. If dropped, crushed, or short-circuited, these batteries can release dangerous amounts of heat and may ignite, and are
dangerous in fires. Special regulations apply to shipping these batteries. Shipments requiring hazardous materials shipping papers are accepted
from contract hazmat shippers only, and certain lithium batteries may not qualify.

Other Batteries: Although common dry cell (e.g., AA, C, D batteries) may not be regulated as hazardous materials, all batteries can cause fires
from short circuits if batteries and terminals are not protected. However, effective January 2010, packages containing dry cell batteries of more
than nine (9V) volts must be marked "not restricted."

Protect Batteries and Terminals

When shipping batteries, you must protect all terminals against short circuits by completely covering the terminals with an insulating material (e.g.,
by using electrical tape or enclosing each battery separately in a plastic bag).
• Short circuits can cause fires.

• Package the batteries to keep them from being crushed or damaged and to keep them from shifting during handling.

• Always keep metal objects or other materials that can short circuit battery terminals securely away from the batteries - e.g., by using a separate
inner box for the batteries.

Prevent Fires

Any device with installed batteries must not turn on while in transport. Protect switches that can be accidentally activated or remove the batteries
and protect the terminals. Even very simple devices like flashlights or rechargeable drills can generate a dangerous quantity of heat if accidentally
activated.

Recalled or Recycled Batteries

Damaged, defective, or recalled batteries are FORBIDDEN FOR TRANSPORTATION BY AIRCRAFT (see e.g., IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations,
Special Provision A154). Also, batteries accumulated for recycling are not to be sent via air services.

If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please do not hesitate your International Move Coordinator.
