- Incident of relaxing on beach and gazing at a majestic lighthouse

Pondered, deep thinking, significance revealed
I couldn’t find a better metaphor for a mentor than light house
- GA TM, let me throw more light, as to why I see Mentors as tall standing, majestic
personalities yet in different to what you give them back.
- 3 things which I learnt from my Mentors, and I was fortunate to have so many of them at
different stages of my life including my journey of TM,
a. Mentor deciphers the what I really want to do, they define, refine and re-define success
for me. ex- eye contact, focus within, feel relaxed
b. Mentor don’t let you be complacent and push you to get better by each passing day. Ex-
c. They share their experiences, more of their mistakes than success stories. Ex- Tell
stories, use conversational dialogues
- Show you the path, warn you, keep a close eye but maintain the distance from your daily life
wins & struggles, ups & downs, joys & sorry. They expect nothing materialistic in return,
because they have already gained their satisfaction when they mentor you around.
- Mentors guide, correct and be on your side through rough seas and hurricane tide
Watch along rocky shore side, says the Light House, now you decide……
