Job Description: Component Design Engineers are responsible for the design and development of
electronic components. Responsibilities may include: the design of chip layout circuit design'' circuit
checking'' device evaluation and characterization'' documentation of specifications'' prototype construction
and checkout'' modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components'' performing
developmental and/or test work'' reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams'' planning and

Specifically the candidate will be responsible for design and characterization of Memory Compiler and
IPs.
Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred

work/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum qualifications:
- Must have an BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

- Minimum 1 year experience with scripting skills in perl/tcl

Preferred qualifications:

Qualifications

You must possess a relevant Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree with 6 - 8 years of board design
experience. You must have a thorough knowledge of board design process and competency in industrial
CAD toolset for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design such as Cadence.
Additional qualifications in all or some of the following areas is also desired:
- Good design background in electrical and power electronic interconnects
- Strong fundamental of electrical elements like Regulators, Battery charging, Power map, Power
sequencing etc
- Conversant with voltage regulator topology, power components characteristics such as FET, inductor
