METHODOLOGY

MATERIALS

Sodium Chloride

Liquid soap
Vinegar

Baking Soda
Calamansi

Borax
Toothpaste

Empty Spray Bottle

PROCEDURE

1. Put a 1/8 cup of borax.

2. Then add a 1/8 cup of baking soda

3. After that add a 1 tbsp of liquid soap and stir it well.

4. Last, add a ½ tbsp vinegar followed by a 1 tbsp of toothpaste to complete the first

solution.

5. Set aside the 1 solution and prepare another container for the second solution. Put

a 1/8 cup of baking soda in the container.

6. Then add½ tbsp of liquid soap and stir it well.

7. After that add a 1 tbsp of toothpaste.

8. Then add a ½ tbsp of vinegar.

9. Stir it well and add a 1 tbsp of salt.

10. After that add the squeezed juice from 3 calamansi and add it to the solution. Stir

the solution well.

11. Finally, pour the second solution to the first solution and mix it well then add

another 1 tbsp of vinegar.

RESEARCH DESIGN

This is an experimental type of research where in the researchers will notice the

effectiveness of this product and have to describe the changes with the control variable

within a minute of observation. The research design used in this study is pre test-post test

design where in the researchers will observe if there is a significant change before and

after the application of the product.

DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE

Data gathering plays a crucial role in the researchers study. In order to obtain an

accurate result the researchers will have to gather the data correctly with the use of the

appropriate instrument for the study. Data could easily be gathered in this study through

the process of observation since the results can be easily seen after the application of the

product. The amount of time used before finally removing the vandal or stain on different

surfaces will be recorded in order to measure the range of effectivity. The white vinegar

together with the baking soda will bought at the store where in ___% solution of the
white vinegar will be used together with the ___ grams of sodium bicarbonate. In order to

acquire the data needed the researchers will have to observe and notice the difference of

the surroundings for about a minute, to see whether the vandals are easier to clean using a

chemical substance that can be found at home.

RELIABILITY AND VALIDITY

The researchers will use observation as the research instrument. Observations

might be a reliable source of data but it does not mean that all data will be valid since

observation is a research instrument wherein the data will be gathered with the use of the

senses only.

STATISTICAL TREATMENT

Since this is a qualitative type of research it will use non-statistical methods. It’s a

methodological approach is primarily guided by the concrete material at hand. For this

study no statistical treatment will be used.
