Wittenberg, Germany

Now, I do not know where this photo was taken. Probably in Wittenberg, Germany but, it is of the 95 theses by Martin Luther.
This professor of theology wrote the 95 Theses, in 1517, in order to compensate for the actions of the church towards
their "works of mercy" and "economy of salvation" issues, where the Church was charging a fee for penitence in purgatory.
(Wikipedia) The photo is significant in that if it not for the script their would not be a Protestant Reformation and the
enhancement of Christianity expanding pass the Catholic Church which was the only church in Western Europe in the early 16th
century.
