“THE POWER OF EDUCATION”

CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. ENTRY PERIOD
The Spector, Middleton, Young & Minney, LLP (SMYM)
“Design Our Holiday Card” art contest will begin accepting
submissions on October 1, 2007. Entries must be received
no later than 5pm on October 30, 2007.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to children enrolled in a California charter
school in grades two categories: (1) grades K-5 and (2) grades
6-12. Employees of SMYM as well as their immediate family
members (spouses, parents, siblings and children) are not eligible.
The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local
laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
3. RULES OF ENTRY
SMYM is not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, invalid,
unintelligible or misdirected entries. Submissions will not be
returned and become the property of SMYM. By entering the
contest you agree that SMYM has the right to display, copy,
distribute and otherwise use the artwork as it sees fit without any
fee or other form of compensation. SMYM intends to reproduce
the art work with full credit to the winner on its holiday card that
is mailed to over 300 charter schools throughout the State.
4. THEME OF ARTWORK
Artwork must be based upon the theme: “The Power of Education” 10. PRIZES
— contestants can design art work with any interpretation of All participants

By entering the contest, you fully and unconditionally agree to and at http://www.smymcharterlaw.com and winners will
accept the rules as outlined herein and agree to accept the decisions be notified by telephone and mail. Prizes will be awarded
of SMYM and the contest judges which are final and binding. during the month of November 2007.

9. JUDGING CRITERIA
Entries must meet all rules and submission criteria as stated herein
to be eligible. Entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges.
Artwork will be judged on artistic merit and creativity.
