Read the following text very carefully.

Hello! My name is Monique Goumett and I’m sixteen years old. My parents are both doctors
and they work in Paris. I have got one brother, François. He is a university student. He is twenty years
old, and he is a handsome, gentle and funny young man...I really admire him!
I used to live in Paris with my family but now I’m living in London, the wonderful capital of
the United Kingdom. In London there are always people of all races and nationalities wherever you go!
Some things are really amazing here…Red buses, black taxis, green parks! I love nature, and there are
many big green parks in London to spend some of my spare time!
In the morning it is always the same routine: I get up at eight o’clock, I have a quick shower
and get dressed. After breakfast I go to school by bus. I have English classes till lunch time. In the
afternoon I walk around the city and I visit interesting places: parks, museums, markets, churches and
shops… I usually have dinner at home. I don’t like British food, but I like tea and fruit cakes.
After dinner, my friend Patricia and I tidy up the kitchen and I always take the rubbish out.
Then we watch TV or go out with friends. Of course, I speak a lot of English here. That’s why I’m in
London to learn and improve my English…and to have fun!
