5/18 - 8/18 Software Engineer Intern, Garmin Inc, Olathe, KS.
Built a Windows application for creating, managing, and integrating resources used in a
theming system with C++, Qt, and JavaScript. Implemented UI tests for automotive
head unit software using Python scripts.
5/17 - 8/17 IT Intern, Central Minnesota Credit Union, St. Joseph, MN.
Learned and applied new banking software, JHA Enterprise Workflow, using SQL,
Visual Basic .NET, and XML. Trained coworkers on how to use the software. Gathered
requirements for and developed many applications using the software.
2/17 - 4/17 Intern, Complex Computation, Ames, IA.
Called and met with potential users of the company’s software. Coded in Java and some
C++ to help with company projects. Aided co-owners with daily tasks.
5/15 - 8/16 Teller, Central Minnesota Credit Union, Melrose, MN.
Worked two consecutive summers. Assisted credit union members both in-person and on
the phone with their day-to-day financial needs and transactions. Supported personal
bankers, mortgage lenders, and other tellers with daily responsibilities.

PROJECT WORK
• C/C++ Rogue Like Game - Coded a dungeon game in which a user-controlled character seeks
to slay monsters, pick up items, and defeat all the levels to escape the dungeon. Required the
implementation of Dijkstra’s algorithm and the manipulation of various data structures.
• Team Software Development - Worked in a team to develop a calendar web application.
Gained experience with agile software development process and front/back end development
languages/techniques.

SERVICE & LEADERSHIP


• President of Helser-Mortensen Residence Hall during the 2016-2017 school year.
• Two-year member of the National Honor Society.
• Team Captain in both cross country and track.
