JACOBS-Led Team for the Planning and Design of Vertical Medical City

Silverman Trykowski Associates (STA) from Boston has recently joined the Vertical Medical City
design team. The firm whose tag line reads “Design to the Power of Research” will participate in
helping lead the project’s sustainability efforts, develop and deploy select smart interior systems,
and design select architectural interiors in the facility. Vertical Medical City, facility to be built on
the north end of the Business District in downtown Orlando, is slated to open in 2023.

recently joined the Vertical Medical City design team.

The firm whose tag line reads “Design to the Power of Research” will participate in helping lead the
project's sustainability efforts, develop and deploy select smart interior systems, and design select
architectural interiors in the facility.

PONTE HEALTH brings in STA to join the team on the basis that the firm “has demonstrated interest in
creating very aesthetic, highly-functional, sustainable environments developed through deep analytics and

STA's Principal, David Silverman, says the VMC ORL Project is “an exciting opportunity to design and
develop the future of healthcare with an empathetic and human centered design approach.”

Vertical Medical City, a new 2 million SF state of the art facility to be built on the north end of the
Business District in downtown Orlando, is slated to open for operations in 2023 and projected in several
locations around the country and globally, will offer a new Aging-in-Place experience inclusive of
housing, medical care, and farm-to-table nutrition.
