1. ACTIVITY.

Students will be divided into four groups. Using the provided materials, every group will discuss a
specific computer maintenance procedure using the following means.
Each presentation must not exceed 5 minutes.

Group 1. Preventive Computer Maintenance (Newscast)

Group 2. Corrective Computer Systems Maintenance (Comical Skit)

Group 3. Planned Computer Systems Maintenance (Poem)

Group 4. Condition Based Computer Systems Maintenance (Role Play)

What is the relationship between computer systems maintenance to the efficiency of a computer
laboratory and technician?

3. ABSTRACTION

Derive the best computer systems maintenance procedure that is suited to Kananga National High
School Computer Laboratory. Explain your answer.

4. APPLICATION

Students will roam and assess the computer laboratory and determine the spots/ facilities/ hardware
that need improvement. Also, they will write recommendations, including the appropriate computer
systems maintenance scheme that would resolve the listed flaws. The class will consolidate their
findings and they will be given 1 week to apply their recommendations and fix the spotted computer lab
issues.
