Problem Statement
One sentence explaining your problem statement
e.g. “Education today doesn’t give students freedom to express themselves due to its monotonous
nature”

Vision
Again, one sentence explaining your vision (response to problem statement)
e.g. “This school intends to promote student’s diverse self-expression”

Concept
How have you attempted to fulfill your vision architecturally?
e.g. “Through informal intermediate spaces to provide student’s with ”

Keywords
No more than 3 keywords to explain your architectural approach
e.g. “1. Spontaneous interaction 2. Flexible spaces 3. Exposure”

N.B Each part should have diagrams and images to help express your points
Studies
Pedagogy
Again, explain your pedagogy briefly, stating its name. Express the idea behind the pedagogy using
diagrams

Site Analysis
Add the points from the context that you’ve addressed in your project e.g. “wind direction – wind
rose”
Only focus on the points you’ve addressed. If your elevation is inspired by surrounding context,
add the images of surroundings. If the traffic played a role in defining entrances, add a traffic map
etc.

Environmental Analysis
Through diagrams, explain how you addressed the environmental problems in the site e.g. “direct
sunlight on west façade -> adjustable vertical louvers (add images here either from your model,
drawings or from similar examples – it’s better to use your sections and plans)”
3D Zoning
Two methods
1. Use a 3D program to create a 3D model of your building. Separate each floor in one
perspective view, showing all floors above each other (use Revit, 3Dmax, SketchUp or any
other program)

2. Use AutoCAD 3D. Copy and paste your 2D plans into the 3D interface using one single
perspective view. Place plans above each other showing all plans 2D.

Method 2

1. 2D Plans (4 levels) 2. Open AutoCAD 3D

Class
Library
MPU

3. Change colors of all interface elements from 4. Paste all plans into the 3D Cad file. Move plans
black/grey to white above each other so that each plan is visible.
Color the plans according to your key
3D Shots
Make sure images are taken from human eye level, not bird’s eye view
Images should show best parts of your project
