In addition to 186,000 ft2 of indoor meeting space, Hilton Orlando has 50,000 ft2 of outdoor event space, The Promenade. This area features multi-use
terraces and lawns for intimate gatherings or large scale events from 100 to 4,000 guests, providing the perfect setting for any outdoor event. This lushly
spacious landscaped Promenade features four unique venues that will leave a lasting impression your attendees will never forget.

A Sky Terrace B Fountain Plaza

The 10,500 ft2 elevated terrace can accommodate a banquet of 750 or
a reception for up to 1,100 guests. Plaza is at one elevation with a mix of
concrete and decorative pavers. Food trucks, cars and elephants have easy
access through a dedicated entrance. Area can be covered by a 66’ X 116’
temporary tent structure.

C Sun Garden
This 4,500 ft2 charming garden area can accommodate 180 - 350 guests.
The plaza is at one elevation with raised planters for seating and has a mix of
concrete and decorative pavers.
The 8,200 ft2 circular patio is ideal for a standing cocktail reception for up to
900 or a sit-down dinner for 620 guests! The area features artificial turf grass
and guests can enjoy a spectacular fire and water fountain and dance under
the stars.
A 9,800 ft2 manicured lawn accommodates a banquet up to 720 rounds of 10
or 1,050 guests for a reception. The Lawn features artificial turf grass and is
defined by a 2’- 0” wide concrete edge with electrical connection pull boxes;
area can be covered with a 66’ X 132’ temporary tent structure.

E Service Hub
This “Back of House” area is for staging events, hidden
by brick pavers. Included in this space are utility
pedestals with electric hook ups, and potable water
connections. C
F Stage
A concrete area dedicated for music performances or
PA events. This area includes an electrical connection

The Promenade was strategically designed with not only the meeting planner in mind, but the attendees as well.
Features, unknown to the guest, make The Promenade accessible and flexible throughout the year.

• Outdoor tents can be set up from the Sky Terrace to the Grande
Lawn with covered walk-ways linking each Tent as well as the
Tents to the Ballroom foyers. Tents can total 20,300 ft2.
• Food Trucks, cars and elephants have easy access to drive directly
into The Promenade through and exclusive entrance.
• Dedicated concrete stage area for music performances includes
an electrical connection pull box.
• On the Grand Lawn and Fountain Plaza, artificial turf grass was
used so that it is evergreen, providing a constituent walking surface
that does not need to be replaced annually like natural grass and
most importantly, it is easy for women to walk on in their heels.
• All areas are great for team building functions such as group
exercise classes: Tai Chi, Yoga and Zumba.
• There are strategically placed connection boxes that have chases
in them to provide power connections to prime areas so that
attendees are not tripping over power cords.
• Lighting is at a low level pedestrian scale keeping the space
intimate and unobtrusive to other functions that may be occurring
in other areas of the property.
• The biggest obstacle of hosting an outdoor event in Florida is the
chance of rain, but the design team has overcome this by creating a
series of underdrains that will allow the entire Promenade to drain
completely within minutes of an afternoon shower.
