VPNs Are (Sorta) Not Needed!
Similar to the title, VPNs are no longer needed to play the game for most areas!
Some areas, however, may still need one. Some people in Taiwan, for example, have reported
still needing a vpn. Additionally, to load-up through Hangame (unsure for WeMade accounts)
you will still need a VPN.
If you end up needing a VPN, please refer to the ​VPN Programs Recommended​ section.

If you created a Hangame account on or before September 27, ​2017​, continue reading.
Banned from SoulworkerHQ.com? Soulworker has changed publishers from ​Hangame​ to ​WeMade Online​ (aka Gamecom).
The final day to transfer your data has already passed (September 27, ​2018​ (JST)) and so

How Do I Download The Game?
Prerequisites
First, make sure your computer meets the requirements to play the game.
Your game may crash a lot or not even start if your computer isn’t powerful enough.
Recommended PC Specs​:
● OS​: Windows 7 SP1 or newer
● CPU​: Intel Core i5 +
● Memory​: 4GB or higher
● Graphic Card​: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 or AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series and up
● HDD Space​: 8GB free space or more
Next, these required programs are needed to run the game​:

VPN Programs Recommended
A VPN is no longer needed for most people! Read the ​announcement​ for more info.
If you happen to need a VPN, here are a few options:

servers may not be very good, and some servers may not even work.

Downloading Soulworker
Soulworker website for Gamecom accounts: Gamecom
1a.​ Click the Game Start button. You’ll be directed to the game launcher’s download page.
Soulworker website for Hangame accounts: Hangame
1b.​ Hover the mouse over the Game Start button and click the button that appears above it
to be directed to the game launcher’s download page.
The two websites above are different.
-Use the link according to the account you have or you won’t be able to login.
2.​ Then click the image to the right to download the launcher. After installing, click Game Start.
Downloading Tips
● It is recommended to temporarily disable your antivirus while downloading to reduce the
chance of an installation error. (Avast is known to cause problems with Soulworker)
● Adding the game folder to your antivirus’s exclusion list or whitelist after the game is
installed may help prevent future problems.
● Keeping a backup of the game can save you time if something goes wrong.
VPN Tips (Only If You Need One)
● You do not need to leave your VPN on while downloading. You can disconnect your
VPN as soon as the download starts.
● You do not need to leave your VPN on while playing the game. You can disconnect it as
soon as you click the green Game Start button on the launcher.

Manual Install Manual Install - Images

If you want to do a manual install, first, you will need the game files. You can get them either To easily view a file’s type in Windows 10, open your file browser, select the View tab,
from a friend or from our ​File Source​ section: Manual Install Files. and select File name extensions to show a file’s type at the end of all file names.

1. If you downloaded from our File Source section, you may need to extract the Archive.
a. To extract a file using WinRAR, right-click the file and click ​Extract Here​.
- You can extract more than one file at a time by selecting multiple files first.
b. You will need to extract all of the ​7z type​ files inside the Archive.
c. Don’t forget to extract the 7z type files inside the folders within the Archive.
d. Once you have extracted all of the 7z type files in the Archive, the 7z type files are no Step 1a
longer needed and can be deleted. (Or you can move them somewhere else and keep
them as a backup)

2. The file structure should be the same as shown in the image to the right for Step 2.

3. Rename the Archive folder (or whatever folder you put the files into) to “​Soulworker​”. The
default location for the Soulworker folder is in “​C:\Wemade Online​”.

By this point, you should have the game files with the right file structure and the location
should be “​C:\Wemade Online\Soulworker​” (unless you want to take the extra steps of Step 2 (Click for bigger image) - Some specific files in this pic are slightly outdated.

4. You will now need to tell your computer where the game is installed. To do this, we need to
add a registry entry. I have prepared a file to add this entry for you, but you need to know if
your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit. You can check this by opening the Windows Start Menu,
searching “​System​”, and opening the first result. (Skip “System Information” if it shows up.)
Now use this link to download the file of the version you need: ​Download Link
After downloading the file, run it, and the game will then be ready. (You can delete the file now)

Warning: The registry is fragile and very important to Windows. It is recommended you do
not​ attempt to modify it yourself if you don’t know what you’re doing.

If you would like to install the game in a location other than “​C:\Wemade Online​”, then
download the file from step 4, right-click the file, and select ​Edit​. The file will then be opened in
Notepad where you can change the location. The line with “InstallPath” needs the location of
the Soulworker folder, and the line with “Execute” needs the location of the
“​SoulWorker100.exe​” file. Also, you need to use two “ ​\ ​” instead of just one.

5. For those who know about the patcher’s auto-login feature, this feature is currently
disabled for the JP version of the game as it is currently not working. Are characters gender-locked?
It is currently unknown when, or if, this feature will be fixed. Yes, genders cannot be changed.

Is there a energy/stamina/fatigue system?

Why isn’t the game translated?
● Refer to the “How to use the SWPatcher” info above if you haven’t already.
● If that doesn’t help, then with the game closed and the SWPatcher open, click “​Menu​” at
the top left, and click “​Force Patch​”. The problem should now be solved.
Yes, characters in Soulworker start with 200 FP (Fatigue Points).
Fatigue is counted separately for each character.
When does fatigue refresh?
9 AM Japan Standard Time | 7 PM Eastern Standard Time | 4 PM Pacific Standard Time

What happens to my leftover FP?

For other problems with the SWPatcher, please refer to the FAQ on the SWPatcher’s If your FP is below 200, you keep half of your FP and gain 200 FP after the FP refresh.

Which character is strong, or fun to play?

That is all up to you. We all have different play styles, and we can’t quite dictate which File Source
character you will have most fun with. Here you can find our source of game files that can be downloaded.

How do I uninstall Soulworker? 1.6.2.0 - 1.6.9.11​ || ​1.7.0.0 - 1.7.4.4​ || ​1.9.0.0 - 1.9.11.2

If you would like to uninstall Soulworker, you can find the uninstaller file in the game directory.
By default, the location is “​C:\Wemade Online\Soulworker​”.
For those who installed through Hangame, the default location is “​C:\HanPurple\soulworker​”.
The uninstaller file is named “​SWUninstaller.exe​”.
● If the file you need is not in the version you need, go back a version one-by-one
until you find the file you need.
● If the version you need is higher than what is available, check the sources below.
If those don’t have the version you need either, then it has not been uploaded yet.
This is common right after the game is updated.

Note:​ The game’s screenshots folder is located in your Soulworker game folder by default and Required Program:
will be deleted when the game is uninstalled if you don’t save them somewhere else first. We store the Manual files as 7z type files to save space,

Important Note:​ ​If downloading the entire archive from the Google Drive, the Archive will be
broken into three different parts. Make sure you download all three or you will be missing files!

Common Pop-ups and Messages

This is simply telling you that your game

crashed and is asking if you’d like to send
an error report.
These are both the same message saying that your ID does not exist.
Right button for “Do not send”
Make sure you are logging in from the correct website.
Left button for “Send”
Hangame account: Hangame Gamecom account: Gamecom

This is asking if you want to update/add

your personal info. This is not required to
play the game, but it is required if you want
to loadup.
Click the left button to ignore the message,
or refer to the ​How do I loadup?​ ​section
for instructions on loading up.

This is just a reminder to change your

password for safety reasons.
Right button to change password.
Left button to not change it and have it
remind you after 2 weeks.

This is asking you to confirm your email

address. This error may be caused by a connection problem where certain parts of the launcher were

This message says that that the game launcher failed
to read option setting information.
Basically, the problem is that the connection to the
server was lost, is not stable, or is too slow.
Make sure you’re not connected to a VPN if you don’t
need one, or consider trying one to see if it helps your
connection or not. ​Recommended VPNs
(405)
This message says that you don’t have enough disk
space to install the game.
Either make some space on your disk, or choose
another disk if you have that option.
(414)
This message basically says that it lost connection to
the server while downloading files.
1. Try restarting the launcher
2. Make sure you’re not using a VPN if you don’t
need one
3. If you’re not using a VPN and you still get this
error, then you’re having trouble keeping a stable
connection to the server. You can try using a vpn to
see if it makes the connection more stable.
This message says to please restart the launcher. If
you continue to get this message after restarting it,
restart your computer and try again.
Common Errors and Problems
Patch Failed (From Game Launcher)
File Corrupted or File does not exist (English Patcher Errors)
-7001 (Old error code)
If you got this error, chances are that one or more of
your game files are corrupted for whatever reason and
need to be replaced with working files.
Important Note​:​ If the version of the file does not
match the version you need, this error will not be fixed.
Game Folder Possible Default Locations:
C:\Wemade Online\Soulworker
C:\HanPurple\soulworker
1. If you get one of the above error messages from the English patcher, the error message
tells you the file that is the problem and the version that you need. Skip to step #4.
2. The number on the downloader/launcher is ​NOT​ the game version. If you’re not using
the English patcher, go to your game folder. You’ll find a file called “​Ver.ini​” or just
“​Ver​”. Open this file to see the version that you'll need.
- Check this every time you get this error as the version can change.
3. To find out which of the files are corrupted, look at the text bar just above the colored
progress bar(s). The file shown there is the file that caused the error.
a. If a file is not shown in that box, close the launcher, open task manager, and
close “reactor.exe” and “Outbound.exe” then try again. (Or restart your computer)
b. If the file is an “​RTP​” file, first try the above step a. If that didn’t work, go to your
game folder and delete the “​RTP​” file, then try again.
4. You now know the file you need and the version you need. You can download this file
from our ​File Source​ section: Per-Version Files. Then replace the corresponding file in
your game folder with the file you downloaded.
Helpful Info:​ Many people have had problems downloading and updating the game due to
their antivirus. To help prevent getting this error in the future, you should add your game folder
to your antivirus’s exclusion list.

Black Names,
Black Models in Cutscenes,

You need to change your date-time format
(​Not​ the time-zone) to a format that uses AM/PM, or the
Japanese format. The menu you do this from should
look like the image on the right.
To access this setting, open the Control Panel and
navigate to “​Clock, Language, and Region​” and click
“​Region​” or you can copy/paste the following to the bar
at the top of the Control Panel:
Control Panel\Clock, Language, and Region\Region
If the above doesn’t work, another possible solution is turning off Anti-Aliasing.
Can’t Select the Game Server
1. If you started the game from your game files, that’s the problem.
The game can only be started from the Soulworker website.
2. If you have this problem after starting the game from the website, then it may be an
internet connection issue. Simply trying again may solve the problem.
3. If the problem is your internet connection, you may want to consider using a VPN to try
to find a better connection to the game servers.
Please refer to the ​VPN Programs Recommended​ section for info about VPNs.
Failed loading table file.(tb_*)
There is a problem with the game file “​data12.v​”
The file’s default location is in one of the following:
“​C:\Wemade Online\Soulworker\datas​” or “​C:\HanPurple\soulworker\datas​”
If you received this message while using the SWPatcher, select Menu > Force Patch
If you are not using the SWPatcher or the above does not solve this problem:
Please read ​Solution​ below.
Failed loading GameContainer.gfx
There is a problem with the game file “​data14.v​”
The file’s default location is in one of the following:
“​C:\Wemade Online\Soulworker\datas​” or “​C:\HanPurple\soulworker\datas​”
Read ​Solution​ below.
Failed to load 'Shaders\FixedFunctionShaders.ShaderLib'.
Engine will not run.
There is a problem with the game file “​Shared.zip​” and/or “​data06.v​”
Notice that this file is a “zip” file, and that’s what it should be while in your game folder.

My screen resolution isn’t supported.
If your desired screen resolution is not included in the game’s list of resolutions, you can do
either of the following to use that resolution:
● Manually change the resolution
○ In your game folder (default location ​C:\Wemade Online\Soulworker​), open the
file “​General​” or “​General.ini​” and edit the numbers after the lines that say
“​Width​” and “​Height​” to your desired resolution, save, and you’re done.
● Add your screen resolution to the game’s list of resolutions
○ In your game folder (default location ​C:\Wemade

XIGNCODE3 Problems and Errors

0xE019100B Error
The game’s anti-cheat program XIGNCODE3 detected a program running that it finds
suspicious and so prevents the game from starting up.

You can go to your game folder (Default location: ​C:\Wemade Online\Soulworker​), go into
the “​XIGNCODE​” folder, and find the log file “​xigncode.log​”.
If you email that file to “​support@wellbia.com​” you’ll soon get an automated reply stating
what program is causing the problem.

Things you can try in the meantime:

1. Close any unnecessary programs and try starting the game again.
2. Try starting the game multiple times. Some have reported that the error simply goes away
after a few tries.
