To whom it may concern:

I have had the privilege of knowing Susana Lopez for the past two years. I first met Susana her
Junior year of high school at El Capitan. She immediately became involved in the FFA program.
Leadership is a skill in which Susana excels at. The very first time that I met her in my Animal
Anatomy class she was very quiet, but that quickly changed once she became interested in the
Vet Science judging team at the end of her Junior Year. She has since grown and changed into
the outgoing young lady that she is today. Aside from being enrolled in my Vet Science class
and participating in the judging team, she also plays on the school soccer team, she is also in
many clubs on campus and volunteers with the local Rotary Club. She spends long hours at
school everyday maintaining a 3.93 GPA and practicing for her extra curricular activities. Her
days and weekends are spent playing soccer, competing in Vet Science Contests, volunteering
or studying for school.

Time management is a skill in which Susana has mastered. She has learned quickly over the
past two years the importance of balancing her education, sports, family and other obligations
that include her clubs and FFA. Susana is a young lady with a lot to look forward to in life. She
has always set high standards for herself and has not let anything get in the way of reaching her
goals. Susana is great around her peers and adults, as I have seen her be a positive role model
and a person of high integrity. She has many experiences for a person of her age, and I know
that she will be a hard worker and excel as she continues to further her education. She has a
passion for learning and aspires to attend Merced College and then transfer to CSU Stanislaus.
She plans on obtaining a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Criminal Justice amd becoming a
police officer. I have no doubt that she will achieve this. I feel that she is highly qualified for this
scholarship and will put it to great use as she begins College after she graduates high school.

If you have any questions in regard to the character or qualifications of Susana Lopez, please
do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours Sincerely,

Michelle Evans
