Change Vehicle Ownership carried out under Section 13 of the Road Transport Act 1987 in which no change vehicle
ownership must be communicated to the State RTD Director within 7 days.

Required Documents
A. PRIVATE VEHICLE
1. Individual Private Vehicles

1. 2 copies of the Checklist Form TM-1 (Rev. 2 / 2009); TM-1


2. 2 copies JPJK3 have completed and signed by the registered owner and the new owner; Form JPJ K3
3. Original Vehicle Registration Certificate (JPJK2);
4. Copies of identification documents and the new owner of the registered owner of the CE-AB (if not present at
the time of application) * for the categories of individuals and sole proprietorships only; CE-AB
5. Original copy and photocopy of identification documents representative (if the application is submitted by a
representative)
6. Letters / Press cancellation of registered owner of title claims (other than e-Title);
7. Property Inspection Report by PUSPAKOM Change in force (excluding motorcycles)

2. Sole Possession of Private Business / Partnerships

1. 2 copies of the Checklist Form TM-1 (Rev. 2 / 2009); TM-1


2. 2 copies JPJK3 have completed and signed by the registered owner and the new owner; Form JPJ K3
3. Original Vehicle Registration Certificate (JPJK2);
4. Copies of identification documents and the new owner of the registered owner of the CE-AB (if not present at
the time of application) * for the categories of individuals and sole proprietorships only; CE-AB
5. Original copy and photocopy of identification documents representative (if the application is submitted by a
representative)
6. For business partnerships, sales of the approval letter from all members of the business partners;
7. Copy of business registration documents Sole Ownership / Partnership;
8. 1 Form D (Certificate of Business Registration) or
9. 2 business licenses by local authorities concerned (Sabah and Sarawak);
10. Letters / Press cancellation of registered owner of title claims (other than e-Title) and
11. Property Inspection Report by PUSPAKOM Change in force (excluding motorcycles)
B. COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
1. Commercial Vehicle Company Limited / Limited

1. 2 copies of the Checklist Form TM-1 (Pind.2/2009); TM-1


2. 2 copies JPJK3 have completed and signed by the registered owner and the new owner; * JPJK3 signed by the
Director or Manager or Secretary or other officer of the company; Form JPJ K3
3. Original Vehicle Registration Certificate (JPJK2);
4. Copies of identification documents of the new owner use the TM-AB (if not present at the time of application) *
For the categories of individuals and sole proprietorships only; CE-AB
5. Original copy and photocopy of identification documents representative (if the application is submitted by a

6. A copy of Form 9 (Certificate of Registration) or Form 13 (Certificate of Change of Name);
7. Copies of Minutes of the meeting or resolution of the Board of Directors to sell the vehicle, or the resolution of
the Board of Directors to authorize the officers appointed for the transfer of ownership for any company vehicle,
a copy certified by the Secretary of the Company;
8. PG11A/PG13B Preliminary Examination Report and copy of the original (related);
9. Letters of a permit or replace the original owners of vehicles issued by the CVLB or the Ministry of Tourism (if
applicable);
10. Letter of approval of the license or permit a vehicle to replace the Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board or the
Ministry of Tourism, the original and a copy of the new owner for goods vehicles and public service (if
applicable);
11. Declaration of goods transported in JPJK1 (decontrolled vehicles);
12. Letters / Press cancellation of registered owner of title claims (other than e-Title);
13. Www.treasury.gov.my exemption letter from the Treasury, Customs MITI or (if applicable)
