Distillation has been used since the earliest days of chemical to separate the mixtures of liquid. The
principle of diatillation is heated the liquid, then some ingredients will evaporate faster than others and
this can be use for separation. The simple example of distillation is if the practitioner heat 50% liquid A
and 50% liquid B. The practitioner may find that the vapor contains 75% of liquid A and 25% og liquid B,
the conclution is liquid A is evaporating faster than liquid B.

The vapor from distillation will condensed and back into a liquid, two liquids are generally easy to
separate by distillation if the boiling point are not close enough, but when the boiling point is close
together the practitioner can use modern technique. Separation of two liquids called binary distillation
