Microsoft office picture manager 2016

Hi Tarek,

Welcome to our forum.

As far as I know, the Office Picture Manager has been removed since Office 2013. And the
feature has basically been replaced by Windows Live Photo Gallery which contains better photo-
editing software.
In case you still want Picture Manager back, it is suggested to use the free SharePoint Designer
2010 to bootstrap the Office Picture Manager:

1. Download Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010

32-bit: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16573
64-bit: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24309

2. Run the setup program, click on the Customize button:

3. On the Installation
Options tab, click the drop-down arrow in all three main areas under Microsoft Office and
select Not Available:
4. Expand Office Tools by clicking the plus sign, click the drop-down arrow of Microsoft Office
Picture Manager and select Run from My Computer:
5. Click the Continue button then follow the instructions to complete the installation. The Picture
Manager will then show in the start menu:

Hope my clarification is clear and helpful :)

Editing photos without Picture Manager

Word for Office 365 Word 2019 Word 2016 Word 2013

Microsoft Office Picture Manager isn’t included in the new Office but you can use Word to edit
photos. Word has many built-in photo editing features, so you might not need a separate
program.

You can read more below this video on how Doug uses the built-in tools to get pictures looking
great in a doc.

After you insert a picture in your document, click it, and then click the Picture Tools
Format tab.

In Word, you can choose color variations, crop, compress at different levels, and apply some
special effects.

Crop to a specific shape

Quickly change the shape of a picture by cropping it to a specific shape. The picture is
automatically trimmed to fill the geometry of the selected shape while maintaining its
proportions.

If you want to crop the same picture to more than one shape, make copies of the picture and crop
each to the desired shape individually.
