COMMENTS
3. AFC to ensure that coordinates of the crane's position is as per approved logistics plan and design
intent in coordination with approved logistics, structural, architectural and MEP drawings.
4. AFC to fully comply with DM Construction Code of Safety practice, Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment
Regulations 1998 (LOLER), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and relevant
guidelines and international regulations.
5. AFC to prepare full set of lifting plan and approved by a qualified AP (Appointed person for lifting
operations) with all details required i.e. crane configurations, lifting points, load distribution mat sizes and
materials, ground compaction, etc. prior to commencement of crane erection.
6. A full time dedicated AP and lifting team to be deployed at site as per the lifting plan throughout the
course of erection.
7. AFC to ensure that the workplace is prepared to recieve such operation by aranging provisions to
mitigate space constraints, access and egress, positioning and logistical arrangements
in consideration of the current works in progress to allow safe working conditions throughout the erection
stages.
8. AFC to perform all required pre-inspection and assessment procedures related to the workforce,
equipment, crane members, environmental state, ground conditions, etc. and ensure that all parameters
and criteria are satisfied as per relavant standards as mentioned above.
9. AFC to issue all required PTW as per approved HSE plan and procedures enclosed thereof. All
required authorized signatories must be obtained to allow execution.
10. AFC has full responsibilities for all temporary works in all stages such as design, execution, and supervision
and must ensure all safety arrangements are in place in accordance to contractual requirements.
11. Schedule of erection to be integrated to AFC/UPC daily coordination meeting to take into account
significant arrangements.
13. Design calculation of the tower crane foundation to be submitted for Engineer's review and approval prior
work mobilization
14. Temporary work design to be fully approved prior execution. AFC to ensure design intent is thoroughly met
during execution.
