1. Venice Art Biennale (May 11-November 24, 2019) | Venice, Italy


The Biennale of Venice invited major Italian and foreign artists, each with a
maximum of two works that had never been exhibited in Italy. The 58th
International Art Exhibition will be titled May You Live In Interesting Times, a
phrase of English invention that has long been mistakenly cited as an ancient
Chinese curse that invokes periods of uncertainty, crisis and turmoil; "interesting
times", exactly as the ones we live in today.
2. London Festival of Architecture (1–30 June 2019) | London, UK
The London Festival of Architecture celebrates London as the global hub for
architecture. The festival returns to the capital from 1-30 June 2019 with a lively
and diverse programme of public events across London exploring the theme of
‘boundaries’. What makes the LFA unique is that their vast programme of more
than 500 unique events is delivered by a diverse mix of independent
organisations and individuals – helping to radically democratise the debate
about architecture and our city. From film screenings to walking tours;
architectural cake making to creative architectural installations; heated debates
to Studio Lates, there’s something for everyone in our programme. With a
programme organised by so many different organisations, the LFA offers the
opportunity to see architecture through someone else’s eyes.
3. AIA Conference on Architecture (6–8 June 2019) | Las Vegas, USA
Beyond its excess, extremes, and appetite for the ersatz, Las Vegas is a global
pioneer in design. Its ever-changing landscape is an incubator for the kind of
transformation that influences architecture and design trends the world over.
A’19 programming includes sessions on artificial intelligence, data visualization,
3D concrete printing, Amazon Spheres, tall wood, nano-grid condos, immigrant
architects, overcoming houselessness, the latest in WELL design, the energy-hog
myth, designing border crossings and ports of entry, zero net energy affordable
housing, new codes and standards, and architecture tours of local standouts like
Frank Gehry’s Lou Ruvo Brain Center, Seven Magic Mountains, and the
Downtown Container Park.
4. Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism (6 September – 10 November
2019) | Seoul, South Korea
5. Designart Tokyo (18–27 October 2019) | Tokyo, Japan
DESIGNART is a new word that redefines the things that touch us and bring
emotion to our everyday lives through function and beauty. It is also the name of
the movement to spread and share this amazing concept. With the concept of
“Emotions” we will gather and exhibit emotional design and art contents from all
over the world, Through the recent years, the boundaries between design and art
have been crossing over, and works surpassing such boundaries have been
creating an international movement.
6. Sharjah Architecture Triennial (9 November 2019 - 8 February 2020) |
Sharjah Architecture Triennial is the first major platform for architecture and
urbanism in the Middle East, North and East Africa, and South and Southeast
Asia. Participating in international conversations while anchored in the
specificity of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates, we offer new spaces for
critical reflection and foster research that situates the built environment within
its complex social, economic, and cultural contexts.
7. Dubai Design Week (11–16 November 2019) | Dubai, UAE
Dubai Design Week is the largest creative festival in the Middle East, reflecting
Dubai’s position as the regional capital of design. The six-day programme is
made up of events covering a range of design disciplines including architecture,
product, furniture, interior and graphic design, the majority of which are free to
attend and accessible for both industry and public. Dubai Design Week provides
an accessible meeting point for the global design community, a platform for
regional design and acts as a catalyst for the growth of the creative community in
Dubai and the UAE.
8. Architecture of the Future 2019 (9-11 October, 2019) | Kyiv, Ukraine
On one stage, architects from MVRDV, ZHA, MX3D, 3XN/GXN, AI SpaceFactory,
and many others will reveal how new technologies will change our future. 2000+
participants, 25+ countries, 20+ speakers, 40+ media, 2nd edition of the
conference. 3 topics for the discussing: The Future of City, The Future of Housing
and The Inevitable Technologies

The Architecture and Civil Engineering (ACE) Conference 2019 is a premiere
Academic Research Conference for the presentation of new advances and
research results in the fields of Architecture Civil Engineering and
Environmental Engineering. The conference will bring together leading
researchers, architects, engineers and scientists in this domain of interest from
around the world.
3. ARCHIDEX 2019 (3-6 July 2019) | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Held annually at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia, the exhibition is
widely recognised as a leading event that draws together South East Asia’s
fraternity of architects, interior designers, developers, urban planners,
engineers, academicians, students and various related industry professionals.
ARCHIDEX is jointly organised by the Malaysian Institute of Architects
(Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia or PAM) and C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd, a leading
Malaysian trade and lifestyle exhibitions organiser.
4. KLAF 2019 (21 June-7 July 2019) | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) is the main event of the
architectural calendar in Malaysia. Organised by the Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia
(PAM). The festival is designed as a platform for architecture, both within the
industry and discipline. KLAF has recently expanded into the public space
outside our traditional boundaries of architectural, building and design
professionals, with intention to relocate its agendas to focus on the public and
the city at large, to invigorate and to launch discussions towards better
architecture, better cities.
5. DECORINTEX 2019 (21-25 August 2019) | Surabaya, Indonesia
