Psychometric Testing under exam conditions
More and more employers are using psychometric tests within the graduate recruitment
process. Do you want to practise them in exam conditions?

In response to feedback, the Careers Centre is offering you the opportunity to take SHL’s
graduate level online psychometric tests in numerical and verbal reasoning under exam
conditions and receive individual feedback on your results from a qualified adviser.

Wednesday 8th February @ 1pm in MB370/2

Sign up via Aston Futures if you wish to secure your place.
Please note the tests used in the session will be the same as the SHL tests available through our website – this is an opportunity
to sit them in exam conditions and your results will be more meaningful if you don’t practise the same tests in advance

into each of the main elements of the industry.

We are pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Mountbatten Institute's August 2012 Intake to New
York. We aim to make this our biggest intake ever by filling the 142 internships we have currently (at Citi, British Airways, Deutsche
Bank, Credit Suisse, Thomson Reuters etc.) and adding a handful of new companies to the list!

The Mountbatten experience really can have a dramatic impact on a young person's professional career. This year's report from the
Association of Graduate Recruiters stressed the importance of international awareness and suggested that 'immersion in a different
culture can catapult a graduate into being considered for rewarding roles”.

We encourage any recent graduate or finalist student interested in international business to consider our prestigious cultural
exchange programme. We are not only looking for business graduates - we recruited candidates from over 80 different universities
last year and nearly 50% were graduates of arts, humanities and science and legal courses. The graduate market is so competitive
today, professional experiences that make you stand out from the crowd are essential. We are confident that a year in New York is
the ideal way to achieve this.

The deadline for August 2012 applications is March 15th. Full eligibility requirements can be found on our
website: Mountbatten Institute
