INFORMATION

The Undersigned Assistant Provincial Prosecutor, upon sworn complaint originally filed
by the offended party, accuses PAOLO DANTES Y DIAZ of the crime of Murder defined and
penalized under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code, committed as follows:

That on or about the 24th of February, 2019, in the Municipality of

Dumangas, Iloilo, Philippines and within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court,
the above-named accused PAOLO DANTES Y DIAZ armed with a samurai, with
deliberate intent to kill and with treachery, evident premeditation, cruelty and with
superior strength did then and there, willfully, unlawfully, feloniously, suddenly,
unexpectedly, and treacherously attack, slash and stab with a samurai one
BEAUTY RIVERA Y DELA VEGA, first wounding her in the dorsum or back,
and afterwards, when enfeebled and unable to defend herself, again in the
stomach and finally cutting the latter’s neck, all wounds being necessarily mortal,
thereby causing the direct and immediate death of said BEAUTY RIVERA Y
DELA VEGA.
