SUMMARY OF DISCUSSIONS

DATE: 28th February, 5th & 8th March 2019

MEETING PURPOSE: These meetings were to discuss the scope and the title for the project
whether just to proceed with the given title that have been suggested by Dr. Mohd Hendra or to think
for a new idea for the IDP project. Besides, these meetings also targeted all members in the team to
be able to understand more on the project and things that the team will do in the next 10 weeks.

AGENDA:

1. Approaching team supervisor, Dr. Mohd Hendra bin Hairi.


The supervisor of the team, Dr. Mohd Hendra bin Hairi held a meeting at his office to discuss the
title of the project. Dr. Hendra did propose a scope for the project which is using peltier. Dr. Hendra
also did give his contact information for any further inquiries. The team also learn and gain more
information regarding IDP from Dr. Hendra. This meeting is held up at Dr. Hendra’s office, Faculty
of Electrical Engineering.

2. Meeting with team members.


At 5th March 2019, first meeting with all team members are held at Ramadhan Seafood Restaurant
MITC to discuss about the scope that have been given by Dr. Hendra. Faisal made a motion to
amend the scope which was proposed by Dr. Hendra and 4 members were in favor, 1 member,
Akmal opposed. The title of the project is finalized, and it has been named as The Thermoelectric
Generator.

3. Second meeting with team members.


Secretary of the team, Faisal displayed the minutes from 28th February and 5th March 2019 to recap
back the things that have been done. The leader of the team, Ikhwannaufal explained thoroughly the
procedure that the team needed to follow for the rest of 10 weeks. The leader also distributed the task
to make the proposal, which Kamarul and Akmal were assigned to search for suitable design in using
the peltier product and the rest of the team, Faisal, Ikhwannaufal, and Rahmat needed to complete the
proposal before the due date. Ikhwannaufal also stated that all team members should find the price
for each component that will be going to use in making the product.

4. The target for the next meeting.


In the next meeting, team will be focused on buying all needed components and making a progress at
least 15% of building the final product.
