system or identify any problems.

ABC Online IT Check:

Follow these steps to check that your computers are set up to run ABC Creative Music Online
correctly. Generally if one computer on your network works they should all work….

1) GO to www.abcmusic.org.uk in your internet browser. (Make sure it is Internet Explorer 7 or

above, Firefox, Chrome or Safari)

Check that the full width of the website page can be seen on your computer screen.
You should be able to see the whole width of this image in your browser window without scrolling.

If you canʼt see the full width your screen resolution is set to less than 1024x768 which is less than
we recommend. There is information how to change this setting on Macs and PCs in the Support
section of our website.

2) LOG IN WITH:
EMAIL: ITTEST
PASSWORD: ITTEST

2) In Your Classroom click on the button to the right.

3) Click the GO next to Monster Steps Butterfly Dance.

4) Press the PLAY button

under Press Play to hear audio instructions.

If you hear audio instructions tick the box below. (NB If not check you computers speakers volume
is turned up and it is not muted.)

5) Click the button twice.

6) Click on the FULL SCREEN button.

The MONSTER STEPS BUTTERFLY DANCE movie should fill the screen. If so tick the check box
below.

7) Press START. You should hear music and see a very scary monster moving across the screen.

8) IF so tick box ʻI can see a monster and hear music.ʼ

9) Click on .

10) Click on STAFFROOM and then TRAINING VIDEOS.

11) Click on the red text What is ABC Creative Music Online? (4min 23sec). You should see a box
open and a video play. It may take a few seconds for the video to start, and if your connection
is slow the video may stop and you may need to start it from the beginning again. If the video
plays tick the checkbox below.

12) In the bottom right hand side of the same page (Training Page) click on the link:

Check what version of Flash Player you have installed click on kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/

You should have a minimum of Player Version 8 installed, 10 or above is best.

Checklist:
1) I can hear audio instructions?

2) The FULLSCREEN button works?

3) I can see a monster and hear music.

4) I have Flash Player Version.
