 VI. OPERATION
PROCEDURE TO ANSWER AN INCOMING CALL

1. Place the RIN GE R SWITCH in the ON p osition. An audio tone

will be heard wh en your num ber is call ed .

2. Pick up phone and place earpiece to your ear . TA-302

3. Speak into the micro phone (m outhpi ece ). TA-301

4. When you co mpl ete yo u r co nversation , place th e phon e fa .:e

down on a fl a t surface , or return it to the wall h olste r. This
te rm inates t he call.

PROCEDURE TO MAKE AN O UTGOING CALL

1. Pi ck up phon e.

2. When yo u hear th e di al tone , t a p o ut th e number you wi sh to

call.

3. If you made an error in d ialing, m omenta ril y press an d re lease

the hook switc h. After h eari ng the dial to ne, dia l th e number
aga in .

4. When yo u co mplete your call, place the phone face d o wn on a

n at surface (des k , cOllnter top, etc .) o r return it to the w all
h o lster. This term inates the call and readies t he ph one to receive
the ne xt in co ming call.

reliab ility . assuring that you will need little or no se rvice.
