Problem:
Currently, the Fuser end of life threshold and "Replace Now" message occur before the
appearance of image quality defects. This results in early replacements and higher
service expenses.
Cause:
A subset of customers run their machines in a low stress manner where additional fuser
life can be achieved.
Target Population: Customers who typically run low area coverage, 11" or 17" plain paper
(20-28lb), and who currently replace fusers at or beyond the "Replace Now" message
(200,000 HFSI). Typically, office environment customers meet this criteria.
Solution: Fixed! Did not fix.
