Sub: Request for making necessary arrangements for demolition

of unauthorized Brick Fields at Pandabeswar.

Sir,
As per instruction of Respect District Magistrate, Paschim Bardhaman, B.L.& L.R.O.,
Pandabeswar have proposed for demolition of three brick fields who have not yet constructed fixed
chimney in compliance of the order of the Hon’ble National Green Tribunal and have also erred in
payment of Government Dues. All the three brick fields have been served with closure notices
(copies enclosed) as per direction of Respected District Magistrate, Paschim Bardhaman.

It is hereby certified that all three notices (copies enclosed) have been served upon the
incumbents or then representatives present in the Brick Field upon proper receipt on 29.01.2019.
None of them have cared to contact the B.L.& L.R.O, Pandabeswar thereafter, not they have taken
any step for closure of their unauthorized brick fields.
 In this circumstance, it is therefore proposed that a programme for demolition f the three
brick fields may be taken up next week, on 26/02/2019 (Tuesday) at Pandabeswar.The programme is
proposed to start at 9.00 AM sharp.

You are therefore requested to kindly arrange for providing the following logistic support:-
1) Deployment of Deputy Magistrates on both days to lead the team and perform magisterial
duty.
2) Deployment of adequate police force alongwith RAF and Women police to marginalize any
resistance from mob/brick field owners.
3) Deployment of Fire Brigade Engine from nearest Five station in order to put water into the
fired brick klins.

It is further proposed that the concerned BDO and BL&LROs may be directed to coordinate
among themselves for arrangement of JCB at local level which may be used for demolition of bricks
at these unauthorized brick fields.
