 Transformers Turns Ratio Test:

It is the ratio of the turns between the windings of transformer. It determines the ratio of high
voltage winding to all other windings at no load.

 Winding Resistance Test:

Transformer winding resistance measurement is carried out as a type test, routine test and
also as a field test.In the factory, it helps in determining the following

1. Calculation of the I2R losses in transformer.

2. Calculation of winding temperature at the end of temperature rise test of transformer.
3. As a benchmark for assessing possible damages in the field.

 C & DF TEST:
This test is used to separate the total values of a GST into separate parts for better analysis.
Often this test is used with the GST to confirm the test readings made using the UST.
The C&DF Test Sets can perform excitation-current tests ontransformer windings or other
insulated coil windings.
