JOBS RESPONSIBILITIES

 Supervisor in plant service for Scaffold erection to access tube bundle pulling work &
blinding & de-blinding work and remove pipe insulation for blinding work.
 Line to be isolated, drain and purge the system ready to blinding.
 Blinding work before pipe spools are removed.
 Removal of channel head spools and shell side spools.

applicable job specifications, Quality control procedures (QCP), and Inspection and Test plan (ITP)
at the job site.
 Strict follow-up of the implementation of approved ITP.
 Assist in preparing Quality Procedures and Test Packages.
 Prepare weld mapping of isometric drawings and dimension check of completed spools.
 Reviewing piping isometrics drawing and details. Check all weld sizes, profile and locations.
 Verify heat number, inspection during fabrication and erection such as pipe cut length, edge
preparation, fit-up, branch connections, flanged joints, valve connections, bending and forming,
hot adjustment, bolt, nuts, washer, gasket and tolerances cleaning requirements.
 Inspection of Structural supports as per Isometric Drawings.
 Clearing of punch/snag list and inspection release note.
 Preparation and Client approval of Hydro test packages.
 Witnessing of Hydro test of Piping, valves as required along with the client Inspector.
 Co-ordinate with construction, testing group and QC department in the preparation of the
requirements of each test pack. Hydro testing and facilitate close out of any outstanding punch
items before and after Hydro test.
 Visual Inspection and Hydrostatic/Pneumatic Test witnessing of valves at vendor shops.
 Monitor welder performance, weekly repair rates, and lot and penalty control.
 Monitor storage and handling of welding consumables like low hydrogen electrodes.
 Attend RFIs as per the ITP in each stage of fabrication or installation.
 Coordinate NDTs, PMIs, PWHTs, & Hardness tests and review the results as per required
standards.

separate based on Accepted / CNR.

 Receiving TPI Packages from Buyers for TPI assignment. Checking for completeness of the
package received against standard requirements. Following up and getting missing documents
where the package is incomplete.
 Generate TPI Assignment Documents and advise to Manufacturer on TPI Assignment. Get the
Documents signed by Sr. Materials Engineer (Inspection).
 Verify TPI Release Notes are in-line with PO requirements and advise TPI agency any
discrepancies.
 Ensure all Approved Documents, TPI Reports, Release Notes, Final Certification and
documentation are documented electronically in SAP.
 Follow up with designated department on approval / endorsement of proof load test certificates.
 Preparing Corrective and Preventive Action Request (CPAR) as per the Non-conformance found
in audits.
