AIM OF THE MANUAL

The electrical part of Chapter 20 (Airframe

Electrical Standard Practice Manual has been
transferred to the SPM (Standard Practice
Manual). SPM is generic (not customized), and
applicable on all ATR aircrafts.

2
AIM OF THE MANUAL
Relation between SPM and others manuals

Aircraft Wiring List

Aircraft Wiring Manual - Equipment list
Aircraft Schematic Manual
(wiring connections, routing, -Wire list
(bloc diagram, schematics)
Panels) - Hook up list

3
AIM OF THE MANUAL
Wiring manuals in ATRN@V

The wiring manuals

are contained in
ATRn@v maintenance.

4
AIM OF THE MANUAL
SPM definition

Removal/installation and/or
The SPM gives description and identification of electrical standards maintenance practices of
equipments. It also gives installation procedures and related tools standard parts (e.g.
for installation of: potentiometer, relays) which
 Connectors, pins, sockets. does not require any wiring
 Splices. operation like stripping,
 Ground points. crimping or shrinking, are
 Terminal blocks. not described in the SPM.
 Pressure seals.
Relays, breakers, etc …..
It gives also information needed for repairing and cleaning of
electrical circuits.
