Have all members had the opportunity to view this DVD on the Membership
Strategy 2010-2013 recently distributed to Secretaries of all Lodges.
It is a very straight shooting assessment of the Order in today’s world.
Introduced by V Wor Bro Wes Turnbull, PGIW, it contains a forewords by MW
Bro Vaughan Werner, Grand Master, and Rt W Bro David George, G Supt Mem-
bership. The actual “Guts” of the DVD is the address given recently by Rt W Bro
Greg Godling, Asst G M (Queensland). He gives a straight from the shoulder
view of where we are and should be heeded by all Freemasons. He gives it in the
manner of Bro Bruce Ruxton in his heyday, remember he was the bloke who said
things we all thought. I notice Robinvale Lodge are arranging a viewing of this
for their next meeting. Having seen this I believe it should be shown to a mem-
bers group under good conditions, (on a large screen or projector) where it can be
openly discussed by all members. Actually, I would suggest that a social evening with ladies present could be the go!
