Why Being Member of

Being a member of the Order of Engineers of Mozambique is to comply with the requirements of Law
No. 16/2002 of 26 June created with the objective to regulate the engineering profession in
Mozambique, through registration and certification and exercise of discipline and control on the
professionals of this branch.

Under the law in question, registration and recognition by the Engineers are mandatory conditions for
the exercise of the engineering profession in Mozambique.

It is called Engineer the degree holder, or equivalent, engineering course in Member of the Engineers as
a member, and which deals with the application of science techniques relating to different branches of
engineering in research, design, study, design, manufacture, construction, repair, operation,
maintenance, production, supervision and quality control, including the coordination and management
of these and other activities related to them.
