HANGING SIGN

NOTE: The measurements within this text and 2D documentation are given both in millimeters
and inches (in brackets). This website is based on ISO measurement unit system, which is the
international standard. I apologize to the people who use other measurement units; but I believe that
measurements given in millimeters and inches should be adequate for everyone who would like to
build this project.
Besides that, on today’s Internet it is easy to purchase the ruler that contains all the
measurement units and thus overcome the difficulties of any kind.

The items are made out of the following material:

- sheet metal, thickness 1,2 mm – Sign Table (item 10);
- rectangular steel band, dimensions 20 x 3 mm – Frame (item 1), Lower Support (item 2),
Circle (item 3), Big Spiral (item 4), Small Spiral (item 5);
- rectangular steel band, dimensions 32 x 6 mm Vertical Support (item 6), Wall Support (item
7);
- the rods with circular cross section D4 mm – Table Holder (item 8), Hook (item 9).

Assemblage Instruction
1. Weld the Wall Support (item 7) to the Vertical Support (item 6).

2. Weld the Frame (item 1) to the previously made assembly.

Note: You should weld BOTH SIDES of all the assemblies.

7. Set the Hooks (item 9) to the Sign Table (item 10).

8. Pull the Table Holder (item 8) through the Hook (item 9) and then weld it to the assembly made in step 6.

9. Fasten the whole construction to the wall with standard parts – Fischer (item 11) and Hexagon Bolt
M8 x 70 mm (item 12).
