(ON-THE-JOB-TRAINING)
This program is meant to provide the students with the opportunity to be trained and
be employed in an existing business establishment and to acquire actual and practical
experience to compliment what they have learned in the classroom. It is to be complied
during the summer after the student has completed fourth year in the Accountancy
program and is expected to last for a minimum of 250 hours.
Guidelines:
1. They must have paid their student insurance for the school year.
2. They must accomplish and submit the following forms at specific times during the On-
the-Job-Training:
3. They are allowed to choose the business establishments where they want to
undertake their On-the-Job-Training for eight hours a day.
4. They must transfer to another business establishment of they feel/believe that the
present establishment is unable to protect from danger or harm and/or is expecting
them to perform tasks beyond their capacity/capability as students or the work is
vastly unrelated to their course. In this case, they must consult/inform the
Accountancy Department Chairperson of such transfer.
5. They must be at their best behavior during the On-the-Job-Training. They must
remember that they represent the University and as such, much behave accordingly.
