Abstract

Poverty happens when an individual lacks of money to support their needs in their

everyday living. Poverty indicates the extent to which an individual does without resources.

Poverty is one factor that effects one’s performance in their study. Achieving high grades in shop

performance can make them good student that have goals in life.

This study is conducted in order to determine the effect of poverty on shop performance

among Senior High School bartending students of Antique Vocational School.

The researchers employed a correlational method of research utilizing Grade 12

bartending students.

Dichotomous type of questions was used in the question.

To determine the significant effect of poverty on shop performance among Senior High

School bartending students of Antique Vocational School, Simple linear regression was used.

All statistical computation was processed using SPSS Software and the level of

significant was set at 0.05.

a. The effect of poverty on shop performance among Senior High School bartending

students of Antique Vocational School is negative effect.

b. There is a significant effect of poverty on shop performance among Senior High

School bartending students of Antique Vocational School.

shop Performance among Senior High School bartending students of Antique Vocational School

Antique Vocational School (AVS) and in Ilaya, Bugasong, Antique.
