Daily Action Plan

I. AREA OF CONCERN

The student head nurses will demonstrate managerial and administrative function with
the application of management process. The student staff nurses will utilize the nursing
care process in providing quality patient care across the lifespan.

II. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the 8 hours of duty, the student nurses will be able to:

 Head Nurse

 Identify all the activities in the health center

 Develop a plan according to the activities of the health care facility
 Formulate a rotation plan as basis of coordination with co-head nurses, staff
nurses and other members of the health team
 Assign a specific task to the staff nurses and delegate accordingly
 Supervise the performance of the staff nurses
 Evaluate the overall performance of staff in accordance to the performance
evaluation tool
 Identify health-related concern of the unit and propose resolution through the
implementation of problem-solving process

 Staff Nurses

 Perform responsibilities in a timely and professional manner

 Assess patient’s health condition utilizing variety of resources
 Execute nursing care plan efficiently and accurately
 Conduct an accurate and informative health education in order to give more
knowledge to the clients
 Observe ethico-moral and legal standard of nursing practice
 Appraise the outcome of care rendered by the staff nurses
 Administer the medications and vaccinations properly
 Appreciate the core values of FEU all throughout the rotation

To accomplish all the objectives, daily action plan and implementation of proposed
problem- solving process.
