Keeping Up with the Joneses

March 2019
“and that they have devoted themselves to the service of saints.” I Cor. 16:15b
“Give recognition to such people.” v 18b
Dear Family & Friends,
In most of Paul’s letters to the churches he included some greetings, recognition, and commendation to some
individuals for their service to himself and others. In 1 Cor. 16, he enlarged his comments to not only mention
names, but their devotion to serve, and encouraged the church to recognize and follow their example. In similar
ways, we are also extremely thankful for so many of you who devote yourselves to supporting us and others, as
we serve with Drive-In Ministries.

Property: Please continue to pray for God’s provision and Trips: We are now three months into the year
timing to complete the 2nd Pavilion and other smaller and I’m often asked about the next trips I have
requirements for occupancy. Even with all the rain we had planned. Because of my burden to get
last month, we were able to purchase and plant 22 trees ministry going at the property this summer, I
leaving 14 more to go (as required by heritage foundation). am trying to put off needed trips until later in
See photo. Several gifts came in last month and we have the year, and devote my time as much as
used them but more gifts are needed, both small and large possible to the work here. However, we are
to continue getting this work done. More and more people close to being able to purchase a van for Haiti,
are stopping by and asking about the property which will be bought here, equipped here, and
development and expressing interest and appreciation shipped from somewhere here in the U.S. Plus,
when it is explained to them. We also continue to watch there are speaking engagements, movie
hundreds of homes being built around the property and meetings, and all the other usual
believe God is bringing us thousands of people to receive responsibilities both nationally and
from the ministry that will take place here. internationally that demand much of our time.

Trusting God...Even though things don’t always go as planned, we trust that God has a plan better than ours.
Our granddaughter, Layna ended up in the emergency room March 1st with appendicitis, had to stay four nights
and is now recovering from the surgery. Please pray as they trust the Lord to provide for those expenses. Also, I
went back to the doctor about my knee since I did not have relief from the injections 4 months ago. The next best
plan of action will be knee replacement, probably in July. We had many calls about the tornadoes that went
through in Alabama last week and are very blessed nothing touched down in our town. It is heartbreaking to think
of all those nearby who lost loved ones along with all their worldly goods. We enjoyed attending the Mission
Conference at Heritage Baptist Church where Stephen & Eri presented their
ministry to Ambalema, Colombia. We celebrate birthdays for Anna Kate (4),
Evan (14) & Oscar this month. Timothy & Carolyn have a 10th anniversary.
Thank you for your prayers and trusting God with us. Love, AnnaMae

Your service to us each month/year financially, as well as comments,

notes, cards, etc., provides invaluable support and encouragement to
us more than you know and more than we can express. Thank You.
In His service together,
Mike & AnnaMae and family
