Do you have knowledge about smartphones? Or are you just using it? We need to learn more about
it because smartphone is one of the most important things in today’s world, especially in terms of
our studies. And I believe that if the students use smartphones they become smarter. In short
smartphone plus student equals a smart student.

Based on the statista.com in 2018, 2.53 billion is the estimated number of smartphone users in the
world and the population of the world in 2018 is approximately 7.63 billion. It means almost 1/3 of
the population use smartphone and most of them are students and workers it only means most of
the people depend on their smartphone.

A smartphone for me, it is our secondary brain. Smartphone becomes our secondary brain in terms
of our vocabulary knowledge because if we don’t understand some words or phrases we use our
smartphone to search for it and sometimes we also use our phone to learn or study something.

You can use it to search something and to learn something and it makes you smarter also for
searching related studies about the lessons tackled that makes you active on class especially in
recitation you can also use it for communication and it can help you to communicate with your
group mates those are just few of the benefits of smartphone in our studies.

In school, teachers should allow their students to use their smartphone especially when the lessons
are hard to understand. If they are allowed to use smartphone, it becomes easier for the students to
understand the lesson.

Therefore I will persuade again the teachers to give us, students, permission to use phone on our
studies especially in school because it can help a lot for the improvement of our school performance
that will also reflect on your way of teaching. Please allow us to use it and we will occupy your
expectations. Like what I said earlier smartphone plus students equals a smart student and smart
students is equal to a better future.
