# A new Numbering System

## for Hyper-Inflating Currencies

Joannes Richter

Modern Monetary System require a modern Numbering System for Hyper-inflating Currencies.
Generally politicians and bankers do not really foresee the need for a standardized numbering
system for hyper-inflating currencies.
Therefore I extended the international, scientific standard for technical numbering units which has
proven to be reliable in most fields of technology.
• For the dollar the standard multipliers might be defined as: K\$ (“kilo” \$), M\$ (“mega” \$), G\$
(“giga” \$), T\$ (“tera” \$), P\$ (“peta” \$), E\$ (“exa” \$), Z\$ (“zetta” \$), Y\$ (“yotta” \$).
• For the euro the standard multipliers might be defined as: K€ (“kilo” €), M€ (“mega” €), G€ (“giga”
€), T€ (“tera” €), P€ (“peta” €), E€ (“exa” €), Z€ (“zetta” €), Y€ (“yotta” €).
In the following table the numbering system is documented as a scientific notation in modern English for
the US-dollar, respectively for the Euro in German language. The short notations may be considered
unique and precise for the standardized alphabetical languages in the exponent's range 1-24 and
expandable at least for the range 25-48 (or even 25-100).
