Q1: In your apprenticeship, are there any instances that you rendered
services beyond your specialization as an architect?

62.5% of the respondents conclude to render services


beyond their specialization. Some of these were paying
personal bills in bank.
The remaining 37.5% cited- Not at all.

Q2: Where did you take your review before the board exam?

All the respondents/ architects took their review in Manila.

Q3: How many times did you take your board exam?

75%(6) of the respondents/ architects passed the ALE on


their first take, while 25%(2) passed the ALE on their
second take.

Q4: How old are you when you passed the ALE?

12.5%(1/8) of the respondents/ architects assorts at age 21-


22 when he passed the board exam.
37.5% (3/8) of the respondents/ architects assort at age
23-24 when they passed the board exam.
50% (4/8) of the respondents/ architects assort at age
25-26 when they passed the board exam.
Q5: As a fresh board passer, are you coping up with the work as an
architect?
75 %( 6/8) of the respondents concluded to find themselves
coping up with the works of an architect as a fresh board
passer.
The remaining 25 %( 2/8) cited- Not at all.

Q6: In what UAP professional organization do you belong?

75 %( 6/8) of the respondents belong to UAP-LA UNION


organization, while 25% (2/8) belong to UAP- LA UNION-
AGILA.
Some said to recently to be in UAP-Makati CBD and
UAP- Quezon city.

Q7: Have you been employed since you passed the board exam?

50 %( 4/8) of the respondents said to be employed since they


passed the board exam while 50% (4/8) also said to be
unemployed right after they passed the board exam.

Q8: Do you have plans to continue your studies in masteral degree or


other related degree?

75 %( 6/8) of the respondents cited their wants to took up


masteral degrees.
The remaining 25 %( 2/8) cited- Not at all.
 If your answer is YES, what possible specialization will you
take?
50% chose to take master’s degree in interior
designing.
50% chose to take master’s degree in urban planning.
One of the respondent suggested environmental
planning and heritage conservation.

specialized?

62.5% chose to be as a private practitioner.


37.5% chose to be in government service.

Q9: Will you integrate sustainable design strategies into your project?

100% chose to integrate sustainable design strategies in


their design.
Q10: What architectural style do you use often?

(5/8) of the respondents often used modern style/ design.


(2/8) prefer vernacular style and (1/8) in renaissance
architectural style.

Q11: Is it difficult to deal with clients/ owner?

75 %( 6/8) of the respondents experienced difficulties in


dealing with some clients. Some cited that clients always
seek for the lowest price which is sometimes inadequately
fit the desired design.
25% (2/8) cited- Not at all.
Q12: Does generation gaps affect you?

75%( 6/8) of the respondents cited that age gaps/ generation


gaps affects them by degree of knowledge in technologies,
dealing with old architects through their experiences, they
even cited that architects at old age are far more optimistic
than millennial architects.
25% (2/8) cited- Not at all.

Q13: In 10 years, how do you envision yourself?

Most cited to have their own firm and have a good name.
