EC 6361 ELECTRONICS LABORATORY

1. Conduct an experiment to plot the V-I characteristics of a semiconductor diode in
forward and revere bias. Find the dynamic resistances and cut-in voltage from the
graph. (100)

2. Conduct an experiment to plot the V-I characteristics of a zener diode in forward and
revere bias. Find the dynamic resistances, cut-in voltage and breakdown voltage from
the graph. (100)

3. Conduct an experiment to plot the input and output characteristics of a BJT in


common emitter configuration. Also find the h-parameters from the graph.

4. Conduct an experiment to plot the input and output characteristics of a BJT in


common base configuration. Also find the h-parameters from the graph.

5. Conduct an experiment to plot the input and output characteristics of a BJT in
common collector configuration. Also find the h-parameters from the graph.

6. Conduct an experiment to plot the drain and transfer characteristics of a JFET. Find

7. Conduct an experiment to plot the V-I characteristics of a three terminal device with
single PN junction. Find the intrinsic stand-off ratio. (100)

8. Conduct an experiment using UJT to generate a saw tooth waveform. (100)

9. Design a BJT-CE amplifier with fixed bias for the following specifications. V cc = 12V,
Ic = 5mA. Plot the frequency response and find its gain bandwidth product.(100)

10. Design a BJT-CE amplifier with voltage divider bias for the following
specifications. Vcc = 15V, Ic = 4mA. Plot the frequency response and find its gain
bandwidth product.

14V, Ic = 2mA. Plot the frequency response and find its gain bandwidth product.

12. Conduct an experiment to find the illumination characteristics of the photodiode and
phototransistor and obtain the dark current. (100)

13. Design and construct a RC phase shift oscillator to obtain the sine wave for a
frequency of 1 kHz.

14. Design and construct a LC oscillator to obtain the sine wave for a frequency of 10
kHz. (100)

15. Construct a power supply circuit using half wave rectifier with capacitor filter
assuming load resistance as 500 ohms. Measure the DC voltage under load and
measure the ripple factor. Compare the theoretical and practical values.

assuming load resistance as 500 ohms. Measure the DC voltage under load and
