Pedagogy Planning

Pedagogy

The teacher will then ask for student volunteers questions are
provided about the slides presented and if no student
volunteers the teacher will split the class up into two teams to
 create a quiz bowl session the lesson and questions asked for
class participation. The student selected from each team will
at the smart board then select and drag or circle correct
answer on board with pen or pointer tool.

The teacher then will provide on the Smart Board a short

video on identify significant people and the contributions by
Alexander the Great to the class.

Then teacher will take student volunteers or a designated

team representative (quiz bowl to interact on the smart board
with a word search, word match and more class discussion
questions. The student will then use the pen tool or pointer
tool to circle or select their choice.

The teacher will then have the students brainstorm what they
have learned as a class in a quiz displayed on smartboard to
class. Teacher then will have a clear understanding if
students understand the standards presented, for a grade on
class participation and individually recorded grades.

Optional:
 Quiz can be completed individually - which can be
submitted for grade,
 Quiz can be individually recorded in their notebook
and counted as notebook grade,
 Quiz can be completed as a class for classroom
participation grades
