Project Description:

As per RRF mechanism ,all Wind Farms connected at one pooling station shall collectively send their Power
Generation Schedule in advance .In order to send the schedule ,Renewable (Wind/Solar) Power Forecasting is
must .Power forecasting can be made by each wind farm individually or collectively by all wind farms
connected at one Pooling Station.

Based on the Forecasted Wind Power(data received from Forecasting Company),Coordinating Agency shall
send the Forecasted Power schedule to SLDC in prescribed format(96 time block).

On receipt of Actual power Generation date, the scheduled data shall be compared with actual generation for
each 15 minute time block and shall check the over /under generation thus calculating the generation
above/below prescribed limits and finally the applicable UI (for each particular15 minute time block) shall be
incorporated to get a figure of bonus/penalty on wind Farm.
