Project Description:
HSBC Holdings plc is a British multinational banking and financial services company headquartered in London, United Kingdom.
It is the world's fifth largest bank by total assets.

Objective of this project is to provide solution to clients requirements and developing ETL jobs for that. The output of this is
provided to OWS(Oracle Watchlist Screening) for further screening against the World Blacklist.

Project Description:
Three Ireland, officially Three Ireland (Hutchison) Limited (formerly Hutchison 3G Ireland Ltd), is a telecommunications and
internet service provider operating in Ireland as a subsidiary of CK Hutchison, operating under the global Three brand. The company
launched in July 2005 and provides 3G and 4G mobile phone services.
Objective of this project is to provide solution to clients requirements and developing ETL jobs for that. The output of this is
provided to business to meet their daily/weekly/monthly reporting needs for prepaid and postpaid subscribers.

Tasks performed in Project:

 Analyzing Mappings/DRS provided by the business and creating ETL jobs as per the business
requirement.
 Created various designs of DS Jobs as required, involving stages like Sequential file, Oracle
Connector Enterprise, Dataset, Filter, Transformer, Unstructured Stage, Copy, Funnel, join, lookup,
sort, Remove duplicates, CheckSum, CDC, Pivot Enterprise etc
 Worked on server routine and DS Sequence Jobs to schedule the jobs in correct order.
 Worked on creation of object file by writing C code and calling it in Parallel Routine.
 Created DS jobs to produce 68 millions data in such a way that data created in all the tables will
have same data in the fields used for joining for performance testing in PLE2 env.
 Writing UNIX Scripts for invoking ETL jobs and functions.
 Worked on Analytical functions and CTE query in both Teradata and Oracle
 Worked on Teradata for creating script to perform M-Load to counter performance issues.
 Created script which will run Datastage jobs 24*7 round the clock to load live files and bring data
in Business tables at interval of 15 minutes.
 Worked on creating control M jobs in Enterprise Manager to automate batches.
 Was given the responsibility to lead a team of four person. This team objective was to analyze and
filter the DRS/Mapping Document which is ready to be developed and rejects the one not ready
with proper explaination for rejection.
