Since, the walls are not cladded wind force will only act on the projected area of the individual members
of the structure. This force is generally small for open structures. However, the wind force is applied on
each members by force coefficient method and at floor levels by pressure coefficient method.

3 ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
The detail analysis and design for view tower has been carried out using numerical modelling from
SAP2000 and verified by manual calculations.

3.1 INTER-STOREY DRIFT
Hence, the storey drift ratio is within 0.4% of the storey height which is the permissible limit for drift due
to lateral forces.
