Happy 201911
1'm wondering if we could have a brief conference call either later this week or early next week to discuss
Carolyn’s request. As you know, Chantelle, the Taxi Bill of Rights in the Lower Mainland, a mandatory
requirement, is an initiative of MOTI, which partners with Consumer Protection BC for program
delivery. https://www.taxirights.gov.be.ca/ The Bill of Rights says passengers have the right to “Pay the
posted rate by cash, or accepted credit card or TaxiSaver voucher.”
‘The Board, through a term and condition of licence & a rule requires licensees to post the Bill of Rights to
an interior rear seat side window. We say nothing about the content of the rule or forms
of payment. https://www.ptboard.be.ca/documents/IA taxirights.pdf
I've also attached an e-mail from Carolyn in which she attaches a pdf of the decals & info that would be on
a Kater vehicle.
‘Thanx, |B
