Environment, Culture and Art

First let us define the meaning of environment, culture, and art. Environment is
everything that is around us. It can be living or non-living things. It includes physical,
chemical and other natural forces. Everything constantly interacts with each other and adapts
themselves to conditions in their environment to help them survive. Culture is the social
behavior and norms found in our society. It is a concept that encompasses the range of
phenomena that are transmitted through social learning in the society. It is the set of customs,
traditions, and values that is either passed down or created by a society or community. Art is
a creative activity that expresses imaginative and/or technical skill.

Environment, culture, and art have been a very important part of our society and our
world. Each is essential to our lives because it affects us and how we see the world. Science,
technology, and society also played an important role in our lives because everything is
related to these three. It is now part of our survival. Science is the study of the natural world
based on facts learned through experiments and observation. However, it is not enough to just
base on facts learned by other people. Truth and facts are just a sub-concept of knowledge
and experiences but reality encompasses all of them. That is why we need society. Society
helps us to break through the walls that are built up by the authority. Then again, breaking
through these walls are not enough to be free. Here, the role of technology becomes
significant. It provides us a further reach to reality. With science, technology, and society, we
can appreciate the environment we live in and nurture it. We can also define the culture we
have. Either we stick to that culture or improve it. We can also see art in a different way.
Science, technology, and society help us to be more of an evaluativist than being an absolutist.
It means that we learn to value each perspective and decide which is more appropriate for
each situation. From here, we learned that reductionism is very fatal when it comes to critical
thinking. Science, technology, and society are a breakthrough for our minds. It helps us grow
mentally and think without the box. It is very important to be able to think critically and help
our society. Especially now, we can’t help it but we can see that the environment, culture, and
art that we so much loved are slowly deteriorating.

Our environment is the home we live in. It is where we get the food we eat to survive and
everything we need is there. Our culture defines us. It is the person we think we are, and it is
the person that this society sees in us. The art we see and create is the embodiment of
freedom we have now. Science helps us learn more about environment, culture, and art.
Technology helps us make these three concepts better. It aids us to not just learn but interact
more with these three. Lastly, the society that we choose to follow and believe helps us see
and understand better about this life we try to live. Environment, culture, art, science,
technology, and society are all equally important to us. These are just concepts, but these help
us understand better about our life and the person we try to become.
