Eve - Profile of Eve from the Old Testament Book of Genesis:

Eve was the first woman on earth, the first wife, and the first mother. She is known as the "Mother of
All the Living." And although this is quite a remarkable accomplishment, very little is known about
Eve. There is not much said of her in the book of Genesis. Like most mothers, even though her
accomplishments were great, they were for the most part, overlooked.

Eve was Adam's companion, his helper, the one who would complete him and share equally in his
responsibility over creation. She too was made in God's image, displaying a portion of the
characteristics of God. Together only could Adam and Eve fulfill God's purpose in the continuation of
creation. With Eve, God brought human relationship, friendship and marriage into the world.

Eve's Accomplishments:

Eve is the mother of humankind. She was the first woman and first wife. Although her
accomplishments are quite remarkable, very little is known about Eve. She was the only woman
without a mother and a father. She was made by God as a reflection of his image to be a helper to
Adam. Together they would fulfill God's purpose of populating the Earth.

Eve's Strengths:

Eve was made in the image of God, and to be a helper to Adam. Together she and Adam would fulfill
God's purpose in multiplying God's creation of humankind on the Earth.

Eve's Weaknesses:

Eve was tempted by Satan when he got her to doubt God's goodness, by focusing on the one thing she
couldn't have. She forgot all of the good things God had blessed her with in the garden. She became
discontented, feeling sorry for herself, because she could not share in God's knowledge of good and
evil. Eve allowed Satan to subvert her trust in God.

Although she shared a close relationship with God and her husband, Eve failed to consult either one of
them when confronted with Satan's suggestions. She acted impulsively, independent of her authority.
Once entangled in sin, she invited her husband to join her. Like Adam, when confronted with her sin,
Eve blamed someone else (Satan), instead of taking personal responsibility for what she had done.

Life Lessons:

We learn from Eve that women share in God's image. There are feminine qualities to the character of
God. God's purpose for creation could not be fulfilled without the equal participation of "womankind."
Just like we learned from Adam's life, Eve also teaches us that God wants us to freely choose to follow
and obey him out of love. Nothing we do is hidden from God. Likewise, it does not benefit us to blame
others for our own failings. We must accept personal responsibility for what we do.

In Gen 2:22 JHVH God is building WOMAN out of MAN´s bones and flesh. She is not called Eve yet.
Both the man,ISH, and the woman, ISH-SHA have such fellowship with JHVH and each other that
THEIR NAME is ADAM. The woman is Adam female.In the temptation the woman is seeing (Gen
3:6) that the tree is 1. good for food 2.brings a yearning to the eyes and 3. is to be coveted as the tree to
make one intelligent.For all that is in the world 1.the lust of the flesh 2.the lust of the eyes and 3. the
pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:16 But every man is tempted, when he is
drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust has conceived, it bringeth forth sin; and sin,
when it is finished, bringeth forth death. James 1:14-15 The woman was deceived (1 Tim 2:14) but
Adam male was not deceived. He CHOSE the fellowship with his fallen wife before his fellowship
with JHVH God. This is idolatry.Therefore sin came through one MAN, the first ADAM, not through
one WOMAN (Rom 5:12-19) They discerned they had lost their fellowship with God and hid.They
blamed each other and the serpent. JHVH showed mercy. They did not die at once. And Adam called
the Name of his wife CHAVA (EVE) because she is a MOTHER of ALL LIVING.This means she has
spiritual life and gives birth to all spiritual life in everyone through the SEED of WOMAN Gen 3:15,
who shall crush the serpent´s head Jesus Christ is the seed of David, the seed of Abraham but primary
THE SEED OF WOMAN.Eve has a great calling. She is the MOTHER of ALL LIVIG. She is also a
type of the believer in 2 Cor 11:2-3 She was espoused to the first Adam. The believer is espoused to
the last Adam, Jesus Christ.1 Cor 15:45 WARNING Don´t follow her!!!

One of the most famous events of Bible History is that of Eve being deceived by Satan. The common
perception of that incident is that Satan waited and caught Eve out when she was on her own, that
Satan deceived her alone, after which she then went to Adam and somehow beguiled, or charmed, him
into sin. From that comes the further erroneous assumption that "Satan got to Adam through his wife."
The Bible however plainly states that Adam was right there with Eve the whole time that Satan was
talking with her. Eve was not alone with Satan i.e. "she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave
also unto her husband with her" (Genesis 3:6 KJV).

That's not to say that Satan didn't target Eve for a reason, that he talked to her rather than Adam, but
the reason wasn't that she was alone - it was because she was the leader, and that Adam just stood there
until, as The Lord stated, he "hearkened unto the voice of thy wife." The original Hebrew word
translated in the King James Version as "hearkened" (or "listened" in other translations), pronounced
shaw-maw, literally means, not just listen, but obey. They were there together, but Satan had his sights
on Eve because as in any effective political ("social relationships involving authority or power") hit ("a
strategic, offensive, assault against an enemy, opponent, or a target"), Satan targeted the leader, Eve,
not the follower, Adam. The New Testament also refers to Eve as the one deceived (i.e. 2 Corinthians
11:3), a statement that, since Adam was with her when it happened, can only logically mean that she
made the decision for the both of them.
