Official Art Work Design
Every year, the Chamber reaches out to our local high school
art students and ask they dream up a design that they feel best
encompasses our chosen theme based on a few criteria. Once
completed, that artwork is then submitted to our festival
committee, and from there, the designer is then selected based
on their original work. We are proud to announce this year’s
2019 winner is Kaitlyn Booms. Kaitlyn is the daughter of
Scott & Amy Booms. She is a senior at Lake City High School
and has been a student in Melissa Spence’s Art Class for the
last 4 years. Kaitlyn is also one of our Valedictorians this year,
she plans to attend Kirkland Community College in the Fall
and study Surgical Technology. We asked Kaitlyn what her
favorite thing about the Greatest 4th in North is and she said
“even though I love how the 4th brings our entire community
together, my favorite part is definitely the fireworks”.
